No Regrets

That’s me on the left. I was on a group trip with my friends to the island of Oahu; I never would  have guessed I’d go scuba diving. My girlfriend — that’s her in the middle — had been scuba diving several times. She’s even certified.

Naturally, she wanted me to go with her. At first I was hesitant — very hesitant — because Hawaii is shark territory and I’m freaked out by sharks. I also thought I’d have some sort of panic attack down there on the sea floor. But eventually, I decided to set aside my fears and go for it. I’m really glad I did.

We saw tons of sea turtles and other sea creatures while we were down there. We even saw some reef sharks, which turned out to be pretty cool, and nowhere near as scary as I’d imagined. Scuba diving was also easier than I thought it would be, and by the end of our trip, I think I was starting to get the hang of it.

This picture always reminds me to be adventurous, and try to experience new things. I don’t want to look back on my life when I’m older and have regrets.

Who knew?

  1. I’m a huge hockey fan.
  2. Scary/horror movies are my favorite.
  3. I love to run.

I like to shoot: I take photos of friends and family, usually on trips/vacation, with my iPhone camera. I don’t have the greatest memory, so taking pictures of our group activities on our vacation helps remind me of the great times we have together.

My Mylio setup: Three devices managing roughly 6,000 images.
