Overview

Mylio gives you complete control of your photos’ metadata on any device. This allows you to efficiently catalogue, organize, and find photos in your library.

What is Metadata?

Metadata is the data describing and providing information about your photo. It allows information to be transported with an image in a way that can be understood by other software and humans. Mylio is non-destructive, so as you work, your original photos will not be changed. If you do want to apply metadata changes to the original image, you can with Mylio’s Save Metadata to File option.

To view and manage metadata:

  1. Open Mylio.
  2. Locate an image or set of images you wish to view the metadata for.
  3. Open the Info tab of the Details panel.
  4. Mylio will display metadata about the selected image. If multiple images are selected, Mylio will display the metadata that is consistent between the selected images.
